Back to School
I have four little ones heading off to pre-k this year and to celebrate thier time with me and the friends they made I found the poem and put it on the pillow case and painted all the kids hands. I am going to give these tomorrow when they leave as I wipe away my tears.
Ooey gooey week.
I operate a home day care partly I believe to give me another outlet to get messy and all that fun stuff. I love to find the messiest projects to do with the kids. Oh, how the kids love it. My own kids are 10 and 8 and they can't wait to see what we are going to get into. Here are few pictures of ooey gooey week. I did a lot of hunting for these projects and have to give credit to other bloggers who do post what they do with thier kiddos.
We played with clay, and then painted it and added glitter and jewels and feathers. We flyswatter painted, OH MY!!!!!!!!!! that was soo much fun. I still have paint on the outside toys from the paint splatter, we painted masks and then added feathers and such. We painted frames with rubber bands. We dunked the rubber bands in the paint and then pulled them around the frame and snapped the rubber band. Yup, you guessed it. Paint again splattered everywhere and giggling could be heard down the street. After the flyswatter painting and rubberband painting we then body painted and then stomped thru the paint and painted my cement patio. I used tempra paint and add some DAWN dish soap to the paint to help in the clean up and to help come off the clothes.
Those wiggly wobbly things...
OH my goodness, I totally forgot what the name is of that little wobbly things that make the image wobble back and forth. ANYWHO!!! I love how it adds a little something to the card.
